Harmony remote not updating

According to Logitech, "[A] free app plus your new companion box will give you the same control over your home entertainment system as our most powerful Logitech Harmony remote".All Harmony remote prior to the 2015 Harmony Elite are set up online and retrieve settings via a computer's USB port. I've installed the app, signed in and the hub is found. One) using the harmony app, you can go in and add specific Smart Things-controlled control devices to the list of connected home devices in harmony. Under "things" I can see the hub and it will show me the current activity, but that's it. Do you not get any control of activities and/or devices. Thanks The official harmony/smartthings integration actually has three separate parts.Pressing the 'Watch TV' activity button on the remote will turn on the TV, turn on digital set top box, turn on the sound system, switch the input of TV to the digital set top box and switch the input of the sound system to the set top box. Dim the lights, close the blinds, crank the volume, and start the movie— with one touch.Use swipe or tap gestures directly on the screen to adjust the volume, change channels, fast-forward, rewind, and more.

Then you will be able to add those devices to your existing harmony activities.

Two) using the Smart Things app, you can add a harmony hub as a "thing" on your smartthings network.

This does nothing more than find the hub on your local Wi-Fi, give it a name, and assign it to one of the "rooms" in your smart things mobile app.

According to others in the Harmony forum, this has not yielded any results other than wasted time.

If you have applied the update and found a workaround to the issues or haven't noticed the problems, please do share.
